This Week's Menu Plan
Yes, it's April Fool's day, but when it comes to planning meals and keeping with our budget, I'm not playing around! Har. This week's plan is all food that we have on hand, so when the new sale ads come out on Wednesday, I can focus on purchasing produce, etc. for the upcoming week. Here is this week's plan:
Breakfasts, some will repeat:
yogurt, homemade granola and fruit
breakfast tacos, oranges
cereal, milk and fruit
pb toast, fruit
Lunches
leftovers from supper when available
big salad with cheese, croutons and nuts, dressing
bean burritos/black bean burgers, salad, oranges
pbj, celery sticks, fruit
Snacks
popcorn, juice
peanut butter and celery
yogurt and granola
Easter candy
Suppers, in no particular order:
spaghetti w/meatballs, garden salad, pears (This was our Easter Dinner)
beef stew curry, rice, oranges
fried chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, slaw
tuna sandwiches, slaw, apple crisp
teri beef, rice, macaroni salad, kimchee, fruit salad
franks and beans, rice, oranges
breaded baked chicken, hash browns, green beans, apple crisp
grocery list/confession: I make the worst fried chicken in the universe. Truly, it's awful. So on Tuesday night, Husband will stop at KFC and pick up some of their 2pc/99 cent deal. Other than that, everything else is here at home, ready to make.
