Menu Plan Monday

Hello, Dearies!

What will you be eating this week - any idea? I hope it's something yummy! Oh, before I forget - I have a little giveaway that ends Tuesday night. Go here and enter for some hand-stamped greeting cards. Good luck!

As far as meals are concerned, I am not as structured this week, but I have some general ideas. We'll figure out what 'fruit' is when the time comes, kwim?

Breakfasts:
cereal, milk and fruit
zucchini bread, fruit, milk (I have zucchini bread in the freezer that I still haven't taken out, even though I've mentioned it for a couple weeks.)
pancakes, applesauce, milk
grilled cheese, apples, water
peanut butter toast, pineapple, water

Lunches:
Lunches are the main meal this week because hubby is on nights.

S: spaghetti w/meat sauce, garden salad, mixed vegetables, cheese bread. cookies and ice cream for dessert

M: beef broccoli w/crispy noodles, peaches

T: roast sticky chicken - frozen vegetables, crescent rolls, apple crisp

W: eggs, toast, hash browns, grapefruit

R: hamburgers, garden salad, fruit smoothies

F: pork tofu, rice, kimchee, mandarin oranges

S: french onion soup w/cheese bread, garden salad w/sliced chicken, fruit

Suppers are usually whatever we had for lunch the day before. Hubby packs lunch from home as well.

Snacks:
fresh fruit, string cheese, homemade 'trail mix' (cereal and dry fruit), juice pops, hard-cooked eggs, ants on a log (peanut butter and raisins on celery)

Looks good, Dearie! Your mention of hard-cooked eggs reminded me I have several eggs to do something with. Darling Husbie and DS18 both really like Deviled Eggs, so I'll probably end up making a batch in the near, near future.

I'm getting ideas for side dishes and desserts from you as yours always sound so yummy!

I try to do the same thing when my hubby works evenings and have the dinner meal at lunch!
