New Feature - What'cha Workin' On Wednesday - PLUS a Giveaway!
Hello, Dearies!
I'm going to start something new and fun. Wednesdays at Ten Things Farm I need to know:
What'cha Workin' On?
Are you doing a craft? Re-finishing a piece of furniture? Piecing a quilt? Crocheting a scarf? Whatever it is that you're working on, blog it at your blog, then leave a link here so we can all see! We want to see your felting, your cross stitch, your painting, jewelry, stamping, scrapbook pages - if you created it, please share it here.

A couple quick rules:
1. Please link directly to the post that is about your own What'cha. If you just link to your blog, someone will come back and read this post in a year, and they'll never find the posting about the kimono you're sewing. Plus, if you just link to your blog, I'll remove the link...just as soon as I learn how to do that. (I have known how to do 'Mr. Linky' for all of seven minutes!)
2. If you sell on Etsy or elsewhere - cool! Feel free to mention it in your blog post, but please do not link directly to your selling site - this is more about a specific project than the body of your work.
3. This is a family blog. Please, no links to anything inappropriate, lest I have to learn how to remove those links too. If you wouldn't show it to your four-year-old neighbor kid or your conservative grandma, please don't link it here.
Thanks!

If you don't have a blog, well, you could start one, or if you prefer, leave a comment and let us know What'cha Workin' On, OK?

I used to do all sorts of arts and crafts. I didn't realize how much I missed it until recently, when I started back again. I think that as an at-home mom, a lot of what I do (a lot of what all of us do) is not very permanent. Wash the dishes, they get dirty again. Same with clothes. Cook a meal, and just a few hours later, it's time to do it again. Dust..well, we all know about that. I think one reason I'm enjoying crafting is that when I'm done, there is usually some thing to show for it.
This week I've spent as much time sorting and organizing as anything, but now my craft room is a lot more manageable. It's also really full - I have plenty of things I can work on. This week I did a little stamping:
What did you do? Link below so we can see.
When is she going to mention the giveaway? RIGHT NOW! Everyone who links and everyone who leaves a comment (you can do both) by next Tuesday night (2-2-10) will be entered in the giveaway. I'll send the winner an assortment of the greeting cards and envelopes I made this week.
I can hardly wait to see everything - I know it will be wonderful.
