Goals for the Week

Here's an update - I got more done this week than I did the week before.
Last Week:

Faith 
continue the book I'm reading/working through - Days of Deepening Friendship by Vinita Hampton Wright  ongoing.

read Letting God Come Close - An Approach to the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises by William Barry (You may be wondering....no, I'm not Catholic...I just happen to be doing this self-guided study of St. Ignatius and his teachings.  I have already read one of Fr. Barry's books and it was really helpful! )  ongoing

set aside 15 minutes at the beginning of each day for prayer and bible reading   Three days this week...

Family
complete a week's worth of school with Daughter

try cinnamon popcorn recipe

make sure Husband gets some alone/down/quiet time

Home
begin a menu/recipe binder - set up categories and add the recipes I have for healthy breakfasts

make a winter canning list/list of supplies I'll need

continue to process apples

shred and freeze zucchini...or zucchini bread

House
wash/wax front door, clean up front porch

dust ceiling fans, tops of doors, high shelves

clean out linen closet in master bath

Garden
plant rose bush

check carrots, dig them if they're ready I picked some, and will finish picking them this week...which will give me the space I need to plant the rose bush.

monitor spinach, tomatoes, zucchini and pumpkins  we had a frost, so I'm down to just checking zucchini

Personal/Health
32 or more ounces of water per day  Ha!  I thought this was 64 or more, so that's how much I drank each day.

make/eat lunch salads for the week - 4 days, since I already know we've got lunch plans Friday
repeating this one for 4 days again this week

exercise 5 days - total of 5 miles walking/treadmill
I did it!  I'm bumping myself up to 6 miles/5 days this week.

DIY
work on emptying, sweeping, cleaning and vacuuming the garage so we can seal the concrete We got everything prepped and we already have the first coat of sealer down.

All in all, it's been a pretty productive week.  I got a lot of things marked off my list...so here's this week's goal list:

weather permitting, clear new garden spot

weather permitting, take down fence to move hillbilly greenhouse

Personal/Health

continue with 64 oz. water per day

make salad-in-a-jar for 4 days this week

walk 7 miles total this week

DIY

fill nail holes/touch up paint - trim in bathrooms

touch up paint - corner in hall

Clean out/off the refrigerator in prep for the new one to be delivered on Wednesday.

Put two apple pies in the freezer for later.

Can some applesauce.

Paint our bathroom.

Paint the rockers in our bedroom.

Get the guest room ready for our middle son and DIL to visit next week.

Plan menus for company for next week and for regular meals this week.

Meet the ladies in the prison release half way house. Did not work out last week.

Return two lampshades I will not be using.

Purchase paint for bathroom and rockers.

Decide what to do for window treatment in master bath.
