Meals for Feb 6-12

We went in with some friends to get produce from Bountiful Baskets this past Saturday.  I will go into more detail in the next day or two, but suffice to say that we have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables on hand for meals and snacking.  Hooray!  When combined with the items in our pantry and freezer, it will be a tasty week!

Breakfasts (some will repeat)
apple slices, peanut butter, homemade granola, milk
cold cereal, milk, fresh fruit
eggs, toast, fresh pineapple
cinnamon toast, sliced apples, milk
weekend:  panfried ham, puffed oven pancake with apple raisin sauce

Lunches
If supper leftovers are available, we have those.  If not, we can have:
tuna salad on crackers, veggie tray, fresh fruit
ants on a log (celery topped w/peanut butter and raisins), crackers, pineapple
living room picnic:  cheese and crackers, veggie bites, apple wedges

Suppers
M - petite sirloin on the grill, garden salad, baked potatoes w/toppings, baked apples
T - shoyu turkey, kimchee, rice, vegetable stirfry, fresh pineapple
W - spaghetti w/meat sauce, steamed broccoli, homemade garlic breadsticks, fruit salad w/cookies
R - fajita burritos, cilantro-lime rice, chips w/salsa & guacamole, tangelos
F - tomato-alphabet soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, raw veggies w/dip, apple wedges, s'mores
S - leftovers/go out
S - bbq chicken legs, corn on the cob, potato salad, apple crisp with ice cream

Last week I did this fancy cost breakdown for suppers.  That is more difficult to do this week (mostly because I don't feel like it, hee hee), but overall, this is a low-cost menu.  Just looking over it and estimating, we are right around $25 for everything except the meal out (I don't know where we are going yet).  For three people, 20 meals, that's pretty good - an average of 1.25 per person, per meal, and we're having some yummy stuff!

My grocery list for this week is fresh ginger, thin burrito tortillas, ice cream and whatever great deals are out there.  How about you - what are you having this week?
