Words for You this Wednesday

I thought I'd do these positive quotations on days when I was pressed for time, but instead I'm finding that I really enjoy sharing some with you each week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. :)

On Blessings:

"Be on the lookout for mercies. The more we look for them, the more of them we will see...Better to lose count while naming your blessings than to lose your blessings to counting your troubles."
-Malthie D. Babcock

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return."
-Mary Jean Iron

"Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons."
-Ruth Ann Schabacker

Tell me one of your blessings? Leave me a comment? I'd love to hear about the blessings you've experienced this day.
