Goals For This Week

Even though my 'goal week' started Sunday, I decided to wait and add this today.  I'm still working out my blogging schedule. :)

I had a pretty good week, except where I didn't....

Last Week's Goals:

Faith and Family
> continue with daily devotionals - done
> write two encouraging notes to church members/friends - missed this one completely
> pray daily for my husband - yes, I did!
> first sewing lesson with my daughter - We did this together, and she did a great job!  She's learning running stitch and overhand stitch.  Great job, sweetie!

House and Home
> straighten/organize craft area in the basement - Made great progress!  Then someone gave me some yarn...
> call about oven repair - done
> work on organizing home library - clear off reading table - We reached our goal, and will continue to oranize this week.
> work up a weekly home care plan for homemaker's binder - I made one, which I'm still tweaking just a bit.
> whiten tile (grout) in master bath - done!
> dust wood blinds (one of my least favorite jobs) - done!
> work at least two rows per day on afghan for bedroom - I made good progress, so it's coming along!

Personal and Health
> drink three (16oz.) glasses of water per day - One day was just two glasses, but the rest were three.
> do daily stretches - I remembered to do this....twice.  oops.
> use book The Solution to work out healthier lifestyle plan - ongoing progress - yay!
> three walks - My purpose here was to have some time where I both exercise and have some time to just listen to God.  I didn't get any walks.  There was one day when I cut firewood, and that was great.
> 7+ hours of sleep per night - Sleep is still erratic for me.  Some nights I just can't sleep, other nights, I sleep more than I think I ought to.

Your list is putting me to shame this week. Between the vicodin and only having one hand, alls I can do these days is not much, ha ha. You, on the other hand, are doing awesome! :D

I'm impressed with two rows on the afghan per day. Bed-sized afghans can be really big.

Well, Kristi, you need to take care and heal up. That's priority #1 for you right now!! Take it easy and get well soon!

Thanks Paula! I'm excited about it. I was a teacher for a long time, so I think this will be a lot of fun. Thanks for your kind words!
