Sanity Check!
I just spent half an hour doing an online search:
"how to make duck diapers"
I'm losing it, y'all!
The even scarier part is that I found a few people that make and sell duck diapers, so now I realize I'm not the first person to think of it. However...I'm not really willing to purchase these harness/diaper contraptions, because I'm just wanting something temporary for this time when they are little and in the house.
Now that I've seen what they look like, I think we'll do a bit of experimenting....

I have to say that for once in my life, I'm speechless.
Love to all,

Don't know why, but this is giving me a giggle fit----imagining little ducklings waddling around all outfitted in diapers!
ROFLMAO!!!
Er, sorry Mom. ;)
Lamb, I'm thinking of crocheting a 'cover', lining it with something (plastic wrap?) and then using either some flannel or something disposable. The ones people make and sell use newborn diapers cut in half, or maxi pads. The things people think of!
Thanks K! We'll see if I can come up with something. The other issue is that they are growing SO fast, by the time I get something made, it might be small.
Hugs, Ella
I stopped by via livingourway. We are a homeschooling family living on just a quarter acre in the country. I am doing my best to save our pennies by making things myself and growing our own food. It's a work in progress but enjoying the journey thus far. :)
Your ducks are super cute.
