How to make a Nest

Spring is coming, and certain little people that I know like to pretend. When I was teaching preschool, we used to make a nest in the reading corner in the springtime too. It's easy, it uses stuff on hand, and kids can do it themselves once you show them.

You need some blankets or towels or a quilt or something for the base.


Pick the favorite one or two if they are small, set aside, and form the others into a big donut.


Lay those favorite blankets over the donut.


Tuck in the edges.
