Happy Wednesday!
Welcome to What'cha Working On Wednesday! I hope you've had a little time to work on projects this week.
I've done a bit of sewing. I got this panel to make an apron - everything was printed onto a single piece of fabric, and you just cut out the pockets, straps, etc. and sew them together.
After looking at it, I decided I wanted it lined.
After looking at the fabric I had on hand, I decided on a print.
After thinking it over, I decided I might as well add pockets to that side too, so I ended up with a reversible apron.
In the end, I like 'my' side better than the pre-printed side. For one, the pre-printed side isn't even. See how the border along the bottom is a bit slanted? I was very, very careful to cut and sew it just as instructed, but it must be printed crooked. Also, the fabric on the side I made is heavier, probably more durable. That's just how it goes sometimes - and overall, I am really happy with the entire apron.

Really cute!! You're not just "taunting" us, are you?
Little Bit will be learning to sew next. Cousin Chase is and she likes it, but she didn't wait until her Great Grandma checked it out before she cut and cut something wrong. I think your side is cuter, too.

I don't have a blog entry but I'm learning to knit so I'm working on a dishcloth. Needless to say, I've had to start over a few times - somehow I keep picking up stitches!
I'm working on dishcloths in spring colors and some are for me and some are for surprises!!!!
The colors are just beautiful and make me feel cheerful just to look at them.
