That's a big one!

We grow our own carrots, and they do really well here.

That green thing is a normal sized cucumber. Not a pickling cucumber, no, no, no. It's about eight inches long.

The carrots aren't tough or woody. They are sweet, crunchy, good. If I shred one, I can make enough carrot and raisin salad for all of us to eat it with leftovers. Sometimes we have 'glazed carrot' for supper. I cut this one into carrot sticks, and they'll last us a few days.

I love my garden!

Wow, that is one honkin' carrot!
I tried carrots in my garden, but they didn't make it. Better luck next year!
