Toward the end of last week we bailed on the menu plan a little...we had leftovers to eat, plus we decided to celebrate on Friday, and pulled some ribs from the freezer. So some of this week looks like last week, but that's because we didn't have those things last week. The neat thing? Everything is on hand - in the fridge, freezer or pantry, so I don't have to do any shopping!
Is it me, or does this menu kinda look like it was made in the 50's?
M - Panfried Spam, Macaroni and Cheese, Steamed Broccoli, Fresh Pears, Fruit Pops
T - Potato/Vegetable Chowder, BLT Sandwiches, Cherry Pie
W - Spam Fried Rice (using up the rest of the spam from Monday), Mandarin Oranges
R - Thanksgiving - We will bring Pies, Whip Cream and Fudge to the meal. :)
F - Hamburgers, Veggie Sticks, Oven Fries, Pickles, Fruit Smoothies
S - Turkey Fajitas (if we bring home leftovers), Salsa and chips, Refried Beans, Fruit tbd
S - Marinated Pork Chops, Green Beans, AuGratin Potatoes, Gingerbread w/Applesauce
Breakfasts will vary - cereal, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, and breakfast burritos if I get around to making them.
Lunches will be leftovers from previous day, PBJ, and maybe even breakfast burritos (because I love them!)
Snacks will be fresh or dried fruit, muffins, crackers and cheese, celery and peanut butter.
