It seems Early, but I'm doing this!

I'm not one of those 'Big Christmas' people. I like Christmas - a lot - but a simple, somewhat quiet Christmas is really nice, in my opinion.

That said, I have been thinking, and I've decided to do this. Some of my friends at Prairie Homemaker are doing it too - some have done it in the past, then there are a few of us that are newbies.

I think it will work really well. Hopefully, I won't end up feeling rushed or overwhelmed as Christmas approaches.

I'm starting today! This week is about making some lists, and cleaning/clearing/fixing up the front porch.

Want to join me?

I'd been looking at it last year but with not being in our "forever" home I didn't get into it.

Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.

I have a couple of gifts bought already and I'm making my "to make" list too.

I want a totally stress free holiday this year.

i haven't decorated for the holidays in about 15 years. as a single girl it just seemed like so much work for just me. but i might join you just for the organization and cleaning. plus i should make a holiday knitting schedule. i keep getting more and more request for christmas!

Cool, y'all! One of the things I like about this 'system' is that you can just do whatever applies to you. For me, the guidelines will give me some focus to get some things done that are bugging me anyway (like, today I cleaned out the bench on the porch and bagged up all the shoes that Little Bit has outgrown).
