Check those Window Wells!

We have security covers over our window wells to keep people and/or large animals from falling in and getting injured. Still, we've rescued a toad, a baby bird and a horned lizard from our window wells.

Look what we found in one yesterday.


It's a fairly small bunny - not a baby anymore, but nowhere near full grown. I was able to catch it and set it loose, and it seems like it was OK. I'm going to make sure I check the window wells often!
