Rejuvinate! $7 and I have a 'new' Coach Purse!

Waaaay back when, I received a hand-me-down Coach Leather purse. I used it a while, but it was showing some wear and looking faded, so I got something else. In the midst of some recent de-cluttering, I 'found' it in a closet.

It's a nice purse - really sturdy, and I like the size. It just looks 'tired', you know? I decided to see if I could clean it up and make it pretty again.

I picked up some saddle soap and some brown shoe polish. After using the saddle soap I saw almost no difference in the color, condition, or anything else. I'm not sure that $4.50 was well spent, but maybe it helped open the pores of the leather or something. I guess I'll never know for certain, but I can tell you that the $2.50 for the shoe polish...well, take a look!

WOW!

It's beautiful again! I'm really pleased with how nice it looks and feels now, and I can't wait to start using it. It just goes to show, you really CAN use a little elbow grease to make things nice again. I'm really glad I gave it a try.

So, what have you rejuvinated lately?

Not anymore it's not! It's a rich brown color....that would go very nicely with beige.

(You can borrow it if'n ya wanna!)
