I had a habit of *putting dinner on* in the morning (stews, chili, a roast, whatever) and then just letting it simmer on the stove all day...by evening, a nice meal awaited with almost no effort on my part! I miss that...Lambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04083153173061255844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010626472834900402.post-61398139153860747202009-01-21T08:51:00.000-07:002009-01-21T08:51:00.000-07:00The mashed potatoes look like poi!The mashed potatoes look like poi!mentalutopiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13456078964135908356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010626472834900402.post-86898707349470906862009-01-20T10:04:00.000-07:002009-01-20T10:04:00.000-07:00You know what's funny? After all, they were blue when we dug them out of the ground, so why wouldn't they be blue now? Hubby and I are the ones who found it odd!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02480853709492521200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010626472834900402.post-21226069793938813182009-01-20T08:26:00.000-07:002009-01-20T08:26:00.000-07:00It was minus 22 here with the wind chill this morn...It was minus 22 here with the wind chill this morning BRRRR.

Those blue potatoes look weird but so intriguing! What did your daughter think of them?

Just looking at your wood stove makes me feel warmer. I really miss having one. I grew up with a fire place and it was so nice in the winter to use for some added warmth.Scottish Witchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456235347591709260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010626472834900402.post-69685355430950985952009-01-19T17:57:00.000-07:002009-01-19T17:57:00.000-07:00it was minus eight this morning when i left for wo...it was minus eight this morning when i left for work. blue potatos?
wish i had your wood burner i'd be toasty right nowstaceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13216634233228102281noreply@blogger.com
